UFS111-2nd Vocabulary Entry

1. ABOMINABLE
  • Mean: Very bad, shocking
  • Sentence example:
  1.  Terrorists at Israel is very ABOMINABLE because they shot people without any humanity feeling.
  2. The place was surrounded with people. There was a competition looks so ABOMINABLE and horrible.Participants are among the audience. They held the match to eat the maggots and insect that are still alive.

2. EXECUTIONS
  • Mean: Official punishment
  • Sentence example:
  1. The EXECUTIONS will be post-poned to next week.
  2. It is desirable that the criminal who was eventually wanted to the cops, and was sentenced to EXECUTIONS without trial. The case was done yesterday.

3. ADEQUATELY
  • Mean: Enough for what you need
  • Sentence example: 
  1. The mystery has never been ADEQUATELY explained.
  2. Before we sail, we have to remember to ADEQUATELY the foods and drinks in our ships so there is no insufficient in food supply. 

4. OBVIOUSLY
  • Mean: Used when giving information that you need expect other people to know already or agree with.
  • Sentence example:
  1. OBVIOUSLY, we don't want spend too much money.
  2. When you walk out the interview at the hotel, you must explain OBVIOUSLY why you want to hold the post, as far as I am, there are very strict manager.

5. ENTHUSIASTIC
  • Mean: Full of excitement & interest
  • Sentence example:
  1. He was more than ETHUSIASTIC when someone give him a violin that he wanted for a long time ago.
  2.  We as Malaysians should always ENTHUSIASTIC in all major areas of development, particularly in advancing the common goods of our country.

6. INVINCIBLE
  • Mean: Too strong or too powerful to be defeated
  • Sentence example:
  1. The tank is INVINCIBLE because it have special weapon.
  2. Fortress built by the king was very INVINCIBLE because there was  no a weapon could destroy the defense of the city.

7. OPPORTUNITY
  • Mean: A chance to do or time in which it is possible to do
  • Sentence example:
  1. There will be plenty of OPPORTUNITY for asking question later.
  2. You have given the last OPPORTUNITY by the principal, but you has failed to finish the task.

8. CONVINCED
  • Mean: Completely sure about
  • Sentence example:
  1. She's CONVINCED of her ability to win on that competition.
  2. Afiq is hesitate about his ability to swim while his friends CONVINCED that he can swim.

9. MUTINY 
  • Mean: An act of a group of people
  • Sentence example:
  1. The MUTINY of the soldier were practising their ability to crawl on the field.
  2. The MUTINY that make a trouble in-front of the government was caught yesterday.

10. PUTRID
  • Mean: Used for bad smelling of dead animals & plants
  • Sentence example:
  1. The food there was PUTRID.
  2. The PUTRID smell is coming from inside the stor.
